With Echnoton 005, Talisman and Ash Cawlin deliver a uncompromising release straight from the heart of Berlin’s underground techno scene. Rooted in the raw aesthetics of abandoned industrial spaces and shaped by modern, driving sound design, this record merges hypnotic energy with emotional depth.
At its core is “Scarecrow Pt. 2” by Talisman – a dark, pulsating track built on heavy drums, metallic textures, and subtle layers of tension. The sound feels like an echo from an empty factory hall: raw, direct, and gripping. The DJ Wimpy Remix elevates the hypnotic structure even further, adding more drive for the dancefloor with a precise sense of dynamics and timing. With “Sylv.me”, Talisman expands the spectrum into a more atmospheric and introspective space – a track that unfolds gradually while never losing its raw intensity. Ash Cawlin contributes “Seele” and “Go Impuls”, bringing a personal yet powerful signature to the release. “Seele” merges emotional depth with industrial strength, while “Go Impuls” is designed as a driving peak-time track – direct, uncompromising, and built for dark, vibrating club nights.
This release stands as a reflection of modern Berlin techno: stripped to the essentials, driven by authenticity, and defined by a relentless sonic aesthetic. Echnoton 005 is more than just a record – it’s a statement from the underground.
